When you contact me, complete a form, or engage in therapy or consultation, you may be asked to provide personal information.

 

This may include:

  • information about your current circumstances

  • personal history and experiences relevant to your work with me

 

 

This information is used solely for:

 

  • responding to enquiries

  • preparing for and delivering consultations or therapy

  • creating clinical summaries where applicable

 

 

Your information is not used for marketing purposes and will never be sold or shared with third parties for commercial use.

 

 

 

How Your Information is Stored

Your data may be stored securely using the following platforms:

 

  • Email provider (for communication)

  • Google Forms (for pre-consultation questionnaires)

  • Secure cloud storage (e.g. Dropbox) for notes and summaries

  • Thinkific (for online courses, if applicable)

 

 

All reasonable steps are taken to ensure your data is stored securely and accessed only when necessary.

 

 

 

Google Forms (Questionnaires)

If you complete a consultation questionnaire:

 

  • Your responses are used to inform your session and any written summary

  • The information is treated as confidential clinical material

  • Data is stored securely and accessed only for professional use

 

 

Questionnaire responses are retained as part of your clinical record unless otherwise requested.

 

 

 

Thinkific (Online Courses)

If you enrol in a course via Thinkific:

 

  • Your account and data are managed through the Thinkific platform

  • You will be required to agree to Thinkific’s own privacy policy and terms at the point of sign-up

  • I do not have access to your payment details

 

 

Your use of Thinkific is also subject to their platform policies, which operate alongside this policy.

 

 

 

Confidentiality

Everything you share within therapy or consultation is treated as confidential.

 

The only circumstances where confidentiality may be broken are:

 

  • if there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others

  • if required by law

 

 

Where possible, this would always be discussed with you first.

 

 

 

Data Retention

Records (including questionnaires, notes, and summaries) are retained for up to 7 years after our last contact, in line with professional guidelines.

 

After this time, they are securely deleted.

 

 

 

Your Rights

 

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

 

  • request access to your personal data

  • request correction of inaccurate information

  • request deletion of your data (where appropriate)

  • withdraw consent at any time

Some aspects of my work involve the use of secure digital tools to support organisation and documentation.

 

These tools are used in a way that maintains confidentiality and professional standards. Personal information is not used beyond the scope of your work with me.
